TERMS & CONDITIONS – NOTORIOUS RENTALS

Notorious Rentals is a brand of NOTORIOUS MARKETING MANAGEMENT L.L.C, located at Notorious Hub, Al Quoz 1, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. These Terms and Conditions apply to all equipment rentals and services provided by Notorious Rentals. By placing a booking, using our website notoriousrental.com, or renting any equipment from us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

“Company”, “We”, “Us”, “Our” refers to Notorious Rentals, a brand of NOTORIOUS MARKETING MANAGEMENT L.L.C.
“Customer”, “You”, “Your” refers to any individual or entity renting equipment from the Company.
“Equipment” refers to all camera, film, photography, lighting, audio, and production gear, accessories, and related items.
“Rental Period” refers to the agreed duration during which the Customer is responsible for the Equipment.

2. Booking and Availability

All bookings are subject to availability.
A booking is only confirmed once full payment and required identification documents have been provided.
The Company reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking at its discretion.

3. Customer Identification

Before equipment is released, the Customer must provide valid identification such as Emirates ID or passport, along with accurate contact information.
For corporate bookings, a Trade License may be required.
The Company may refuse to release equipment if documentation is incomplete or unverifiable.

4. Payment Terms

Full payment must be made before the start of the Rental Period unless otherwise agreed.
Prices listed on our website or provided through direct communication may change without prior notice.
Any additional charges incurred during the Rental Period must be settled upon return of the Equipment.

5. Security Deposit

A security deposit may be required before the Equipment is handed over.
The deposit amount depends on the type and value of the Equipment.
The deposit is refunded after the Equipment has been returned, inspected, and cleared of any damages, missing items, or late return fees.
The Company may deduct repair, replacement, or cleaning costs from the deposit.

6. Collection and Return

Equipment must be collected and returned at Notorious Hub, Al Quoz 1, Dubai, unless delivery has been agreed upon.
The Customer must inspect the Equipment upon collection and report any issues immediately. Failure to do so will result in the Equipment being considered received in proper working condition.
Equipment must be returned on or before the agreed time. Delays may result in additional charges.

7. Condition and Care of Equipment

The Customer is responsible for the Equipment from the moment it is collected until it is returned.
The Customer must use the Equipment safely, avoid exposure to water, sand, heat, or impact, and ensure it is protected at all times.
Equipment must not be used in hazardous environments or in ways that may cause damage.
The Customer must not modify, alter, or remove any labels, serial numbers, or Company markings.

8. Prohibited Use

The Equipment must not be used for illegal purposes.
The Equipment must not be sub-rented, transferred, or shared with third parties without written permission from the Company.
The Equipment must not be used in extreme weather conditions, underwater, or in high-risk environments unless specifically approved.

9. Damages, Loss, and Missing Items

The Customer is responsible for any loss, theft, or damage occurring during the Rental Period.
The Customer is liable for the full repair cost or full replacement value if the Equipment is damaged beyond repair or lost.
Missing accessories such as batteries, chargers, memory cards, cables, mounts, or cases will be charged at replacement cost.
The Company will determine the repair or replacement costs based on market value or service reports.

10. Late Returns

Late returns may incur hourly or daily charges depending on the delay.
Excessively delayed returns may result in charging the full replacement value of the Equipment.
Repeated late returns may lead to refusal of future rentals.

11. Malfunctions During Rental

If Equipment malfunctions during the Rental Period, the Customer must notify the Company immediately.
If the malfunction is due to a technical defect not caused by misuse, the Company may provide a replacement if available.
The Company is not responsible for any production delays, losses, or inconvenience caused by technical issues.

12. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the rental start time may be eligible for a refund.
Cancellations made within 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Once the Rental Period has begun, no refunds will be issued.
Returning Equipment earlier than agreed does not qualify for a refund.

13. Liability

The Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Equipment.
The Customer is responsible for verifying compatibility with their own systems, software, or production requirements.
The Company is not responsible for data loss on memory cards or recording media.

14. Ownership

All Equipment remains the property of NOTORIOUS MARKETING MANAGEMENT L.L.C at all times.
The Customer has no ownership rights and must return the Equipment in full.

15. Privacy

The Company may collect and store customer information for verification and operational purposes.
Personal information will not be shared with third parties except where required by law.

16. Termination

The Company may terminate a rental agreement immediately if the Customer violates these Terms, provides false information, misuses the Equipment, or engages in illegal activities.
The Customer must return the Equipment upon request.

17. Governing Law

These Terms and any disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates.
Any legal matters will be resolved under UAE jurisdiction.
